Who Are We?

Gals Who Gig is a Scrapyard Studios project promoting and celebrating women in the music industry through live performances, and industry workshops.  From the performers to the behind-the-scenes team we want to highlight the amazing women working across the North West music scene.

Bands & Artists

We’re looking for women-centred bands and artists to join our ever-growing list of performers.  If you’d like to perform at one of our events we’d love to hear from you.

Music Industry Roles

There are lots of industry roles that don’t involve performance.  The team at Gals Who Gig manage these too;

  • Finding new artists to perform, and booking a varied program of performers for every gig

  • Marketing and promotion of the gigs

  • Live sound engineering

  • Artist liaison and stage managing
